Bans Diving Resort offer courses from PADI Open Water Diver (entry level) to Instructor Development Courses (PADI IDC), our unique Internship Instructor Progam and technical courses like BSAC Compressor Operator Courses and DSAT TEC and Rebreather Courses. We got courses for everyone -starting everyday - year around!

Ban's Diving Resort is a diving college and our specialty is Instructor Development. At Bans Diving Resort you have the options of studying professional courses in Recreational Diving, Technical Diving, Diving Technician Programs, Environmental Courses, Boat Handler and more.

Bans facilities are superior to most divecenters in the world and offer 7 large classrooms (dedicated classrooms for professional courses). all classrooms have projectors, plastma tv, computers, air con and are all located on the Sairee Beach. We got 165 rooms dedicated for divers with prices for everyone. Our fleet of diving boats (4 large diving boats and 3 speedboats) offer over 10 different divesites everyday - year around! Our two resort pools are perfect for confined water training. All our facilities are located on Koh Taos most popular beach - Sairee Beach. The evenings are great as well with Bans Beach Bar "The Fish bowl" and a restaurant located on directly on the beach with stunning sunsets! Here is where all our divers meet in the evening!!!

No other divecenter in Thailand can offer the package you will receive at
Ban's. Here you can come six weeks prior to the IDC and attend theory
lectures, skill practice and assist on courses and just go "fun-diving" -
included in all IDC packages! The IDC consists of more presentation and
practice than the average IDC and will prepare you for the life after the
IDC rather than "just" pass the Instructor Exam.

After the IDC and the IE are completed we offer the our unique internship program called Diving Instructor Internship Program (D.I.I.P) where you can apply all the knowledge and skills you learned during the IDC with real students. You team teach with Senior Master Instructors with years of experience and thousands of certifications behind them to get tips and hints how to make the most out of each PADI Course and Program. During 2009 everyone attended the D.I.I.P. Program was offered an instructor job even before the training was completed!

Many of today's dive center owners and managers in Thailand attended
diving career programs at Ban's Diving. Ban's has received awards for "Support to the PADI System" during 2000-2009 and "Hallmark of excellence" during 1998-2006. Jonas Samuelsson won the "Outstanding Contribution to Instructor Development" both in 2000 and 2007 (only PADI Course Director on Koh Tao who won this award). Ban's Diving won the most prestigious of PADI Awards "Outstanding Business/Divecenter Award" in 2009.
